Former South Carolina signee Sheldon Reed flips to Clemson
Sheldon Reed, a corner outfielder / 1B with Spartanburg Methodist College, had 74 hits, a .448 batting average and 47 RBIs, all of which led the team in 2017. Furthermore, his 11 home runs tied him for the team lead.

Reed is hitting .347 through 19 games this summer with the Purcellville Cannons in the Valley League (a lower tier summer league). Purcellville currently sits atop the division, and Reed is tied for the team lead in RBIs (with 14).

Huck, where do you think he projects next year at Clemson? It appears tat Monte wants Williams to play first, so I am assuming he will get a chance at the corner OF position.
My guess is RF, as Beer prefers to play LF. And I wouldn't rule out 1B until Williams is back - shoulder injuries aren't linear progressions.
